RAIN RAIN RAIN!

So today started out as an absolutely beautiful morning and Koda didn't seem too bothered about having slept outside under the stars but not long into the morning we could see these huse black clouds rolling in on us and watched the barometer steadily drop so decided on staying put for a while as it was predicted to pass by the afternoon and we were looking to move to Take In Bay when it was a bit nicer...But before all that began we started the morning with a good cooked breakfast, you have to start the morning with a good brekkie! but back to the weather I guess. I wasn't too keen on the dog coming down below as I know how much he malts, smells and those are two things I could really do without in the boat so I rigged a tarp over the cockpit and put his blanket in there so he wouldn't get wet but he is a complete moron and decided to lay on top of the boat in the rain and get soaked so when I checked on him the idiot was sitting there shivering! so we dragged him below, dried him off and gave him some dry towels to sleep on. The rest of the day we spent happily snuggled in blankets watching Wallace and Grommit, Mythbusters and Top Gear until about an hour before sundown when the rain disappeared and we clambered into the dinghy and went for a blat around to some nearby beaches. The beaches were secluded and private and the sun set was beautiful....what a way to end the day. Before it was too dark we headed back to the boat, cooked up a feast of Mac & Cheese, sat back down to watch some more Top Gear and suddenly the heavens opened again so I am happy we went out when we did. The rest of the night was spend relaxing on the couch (I guess you can call it that!?!). Until tomorrow....and fingers crossed for some sunshine.
