And apologies for the lack of posting lately, we have had a couple of good trips out on the boat for Labour Weekend and Show weekend so I will go back and write some blogs for those when I have free time.
But as above, its drawing closer to the end of the year, its the silly season again and people are rushing around like idiots getting pressies to put under the tree. Work is flat out trying to get in progress jobs completed before people finish up for the year. Our list of things to do on Dulcinea is getting pretty manageable, Emma and myself are going up this weekend to scratch a few more things off the list (get mainsail working properly, put stickers on, bit of painting here and there, some coats of poly on the front head counters...and several other small things I have written down but can't think of at this time. Lloyd has been in this week to remove and reseal the front hatch as that decided to suddenly start leaking on top of Emma in the night so thats one thing I don't have to do. And Dan is going in tomorrow for the Volvo's first service after we have clocked up nearly 30 hours already.
And we are certainly getting ready and excited...maybe slightly anxious as its less than a month now until we cast off the lines for 6 weeks and head 400nm north to the amazing Bay of Islands. We are just praying for some fair winds and following seas. Will keep this updated over the coming weeks on progress.
