On Saturday we hung out round Bradenton for the day, went for a walk and a swim before heading into Tampa to go to a high school Party that Leith and Anastasia where helping host, we all helped them out on bouncer duty, Checking the kids of the invite list and wrist banding them, green for drinking and pinks for the drivers. Worked out a really good system, there was a whole heap of kids who tried to gate crash, but they where instantly reconisable as they had to colourfull wrist band on so they where swiftly moved out of the party. I have to say though all the movies you see of US party's had my hopes up for crazyness and it was pretty low key.
Sunday we headed off to a theme park, We picked Busch Gardens as it was fairly close by, and looked like it had some fun rides. The park itself is like a cross between a theme park and a zoo. Owen and I are the rollercoaster junkies, but we managed to restrain ourselves to one ride on each one. Roe is VERY against rollercoasters, but we managed to convince him to go on the low key looking wooden one, I later relised that it was posssibly one of the worst rides there as it was soo jerky, where as the crazy metal ones that dangle you upside down are nice and smooth. I think the winner on the day though was the water rides, it was a good thing it was a hot day as we got DRENCHED!
All in all we had a fun weekend, it was nice to have a weekend off working on the boat 24-7 and have a bit of a laugh. Mickey was quite taken with the swimming pool at the marina and made sure we swam twice a day while he was here! Thanks for coming to visit!
