So after running around all afternoon picking up the altered deck vests then getting plumbing parts from Burnsco, then heading home to grab some things, then out to the boat to frantically get as much done as possible...then back home to have a shower, pack my bags, collect the boat keys from Emma's car on the other side of town, then back across town to pickup Paul. All in all it was a manic day and one I am glad is over really. We loaded all our stuff onto the boat, slipped the dock lines and headed for the heads. All smooth sailing (well motoring at this stage) other than almost hitting an unlit pole off a reef (good start). But other than that all sweet and we chugged out of the harbour, past a huge ship anchored off the coast and into Pegasus bay and the dark of night. The wind picked up from the SW and we were sailing quite well....
