Are we there yet?

So today really started at midnight for me, I drew first watch until 1am before I headed to bed to try get some needed sleep, and after rolling around on my bed, bouncing up and down I got about half an hour 'sleep' at best before having to get up about 4am while Paul was on watch because the wind died, autopilot got confused and started to do circles. We fired up the engine and started motoring. It wasn't long before it seemed a good chance to have some cooked brekkie and english muffins with bacon and fried eggs went down a treat, and back up in Pauls case. We threw out a couple of rods and tried a series of different lures during the course of the day. Oh and big thanks to Paul who threw up into the wind which ended up on my face and down my jacket (so I had to smell that all day which was lovely). We got a bit more wind as the day went along and we managed to sail for a good few hours and even had a visit from somewhere between 10-20 dolphins which was so cool to see. Then the wind died again and we were back to motoring...then the phone rang, it was Simon saying I can see you! he was looking out off the cliffs of Kaikoura watching us go by.
