No power

So since we are leaving in under a week now its time to get all those little things sorted, and since Emma is away in Dunedin for the weekend its a good chance to spend good solid days working at the boat without neglecting time with her. I decided to get a few little things done and ended up starting by calling into Edward Gibbon to find something to replace the broken non-return valve with and settled on a nice swing check valve. I went to the boat to fit and realized I had to remove the whole saloon table and flooring just to get to the area - what a pain in the backside. Anyhow thats all fitted not and works a treat. Next item was the leaking fuel tank, I actually managed to find the leak, there is a small pinhole in the glass I laid to repair the previous leak so I thought I would try out the steel epoxy I bought for this very job, mixed it up and stuck it over the area and let it go off. Now dad had shown up to help out so he set to work trying to secure the oil filter bracket, then check the gearbox oil and realized it was low so we shot off to Super Cheap to get more oil, head back and top her up. Then try start the engine and realize that there was no power to the key at all, nothing lit up....shit! well its getting late now so thats tomorrows job.
