Finally a date...

Today was good news with the shipping company emailing me the expected date for arrival into Auckland which is only a little over a month away so will have to start sorting things out pretty quickly. Its amazing how quick they can cover the 7500nm trip when you don't have to worry about stopping or what the wind is doing. So now its time to start getting excited about having her home at last.
Second item of business is a bitch session again about the piss poor customer service that we experienced a lot while in Florida. After emailing the marina where the boat is sitting repeated times asking them to email us an invoice before they try charge the credit card, however they email us telling us they tried to charge the card and it will not go through (duh! we need to load money on it like we told you), then only today they sent me an invoice for well over 2k with money owing from over 90days ago, why didn't they contact us earlier and say "hey guys its time for your next month to be paid, here is the invoice, let us know when the card can be charged". Now the name and shame, Old Port Cove marina in West Palm Beach, Florida...you really need to look at how you operate because its terrible! try keeping in touch with your customers who pay your wages!! Would I reccomend them to anyone, NO, the customer service is crap, the facilities are crap and the security at the gate is a pain in the ass for everyone (especially the skipper i hired to load the boat who cannot get in even though I told the marina he would be coming and going).
