Well amazingly the Metservice did a good job at predicting the second large snowfall for Christchurch this year. The city has halted to a standstill because we have 100mm (4 inches for the bizarre world that uses imperial) which is not a lot compared to other places around the world. Anyhow its a good day, work is on hold until it improves but its snowing heavily now and I am enjoying sitting inside in the warm with the heatpump on 25 degrees. Keep snowing!! short week again! yay!! Attached is a photo taken this morning of the front of our house, this is a rare thing for Christchurch as we sit at sea level so its pretty exciting.
