Today we walked the short distance from the hotel around to the boat yard to find the surveyor there already looking over Dulcinea. He pointed out a few issues, mainly damage to the rudder where it had touched the bottom at some stage, in need of new cutless bearings and in desperate need of new anti-fouling. After some talking with the current owner we discussed a reduced price to compensate for the work needed. The boat yard got straight to work, by the afternoon she was off the lift and blocked up, waterblasted and ready for repairs. She should look amazing after a hull buff and wax, new bottom paint and all nicks and dings fixed up.
