After a late night and constantly feeling like we were dragging anchor (we didn't), I did have a good sleep in the end and everyone ended up getting into the water for an early...ish morning swim which lasted all of about 30 seconds for Roe before deciding it was way too cold. The rest of us managed to spend a bit more time in and go for a swim around the boat and to a nearby buoy. After drying off, breakfast and a bit of a clean up we began making a move for the afternoon stop off point to wait for the tide to enter the marina. We motored all the way to the Potanui Point mooring and took that, played some games before heading into the marina around 4pm before one of those crazy clean up and pack the car moments so we could get on the way before it was too late. On the way home it was decided to have dinner at KFC Blenheim but after standing in the queue for 5 mins without even moving we got fed up and headed for BK instead, still shit service as usual but at least we got served this side of Christmas. The rest of the trip was pretty uneventful really and we were home pretty late in the end. Big thanks to Roe and Karen for a great weekend, some good weather, diving, drinking and games.
