Potiki Bay to Mayor Island
Awaking in the morning at the alarmed time of 6am (yuck!) we had some brekkie and had a look around where we had managed to park ourselves in the darkness, good thing we didn't go in too much further as there was a rather large lot of rocks not too far off our port side. We pulled up anchor and started to head toward Mayor Island, the wind was building and building and we were in a pretty constant 20kn breeze with gusts up to 32kn which was pretty hard work to control so reefed up more until it was more controllable. The day was pretty uneventfull really and we arrived into a small bay on the south east side of Mayor Island before dark which is better than trying to anchor in the dark. We had a good cooked dinner and went to bed to get ready for another day.
